Look Forward to Summer Ready, with “Cucumber – Mode” Diet
Mostly at this time of year we remember to take care of our appearance. We have summer ahead, light wardrobe, going to the beach. But the good news is that it’s never too late to lose weight. In other words, it is always the right time to take care of your health and beauty. Therefore, in this text, we recommend that you, in addition to regular exercise, apply a special diet. A key ally in this endeavor can be this simple and affordable vegetable. So, get ready for summer, with a “cucumber – diet” diet.
This delicious vegetable contains as much as 95% water and 5% dietary fiber. Therefore, it is an excellent diuretic, stimulates digestion, speeds up metabolism and cleanses it of toxins. In addition, it is rich in potassium and magnesium, vitamin C, iron and iodine.
Scheduled menu for the weekly diet plan
Day 1
Breakfast – a slice of rye bread and two cucumbers
Lunch – soup with fresh vegetables (cucumber, carrot, tomato, celery)
Dinner – cucumber salad
Day 2
Breakfast – same as the previous day
Lunch – 50 g of boiled beef, radish and cucumber salad
Eat an apple for a snack
Dinner – cucumber salad, which you can eat two hours before bedtime
Day 3
Breakfast – a slice of rye bread and two cucumbers
Lunch – boiled fish with rice and, of course, cucumber
Dinner – cucumber salad
Day 4
Breakfast – a piece of rye bread and a cucumber
Lunch – boiled rice, a piece of cheese and, again, a cucumber
Dinner – as in all previous days
For a snack, you can eat a pear
Day 5
Breakfast – rye bread and two cucumbers
Lunch – a salad of different types of vegetables
Dinner – cucumber salad and 20 g of hard cheese
Between lunch and dinner, eat an apple.
Day 6
Breakfast – a slice of rye bread and a cucumber
Lunch – soup with fresh vegetables, as on the first day. In addition, eat one boiled egg
Dinner – as the previous day, but without cheese
Between lunch and dinner, eat some citrus fruits (orange, lemon, kiwi, grapefruit)
Before going to bed, eat a cucumber
Day 7
You start the same as before
For lunch, eat soup with fresh vegetables and apples
Dinner – cucumber salad
A few suggestions for how to prepare
Salad
Add salt to 400 g of cream and mix gently with a pinch of sour milk or yogurt. If desired, add spring onions, celery, parsley.
Shake
Wash the cucumber peel well, add a handful of spinach, sour apple and a little grated ginger. Mix everything well in a blender. Pour into a glass and drink.
“Sasi” water
Proponents of a healthy cucumber diet are familiar with this water, which, of course, we make ourselves. For example: boil and cool 2 liters of water. Add a teaspoon of grated ginger, sliced cucumber, lemon slices and five fresh mint leaves. Mix everything well and store in glass bottles, in the refrigerator. The water should stand for 10 hours before use. We suggest that you start each morning by drinking one glass. Of course, this water can be (even desirable) drunk during the day, in small sips.
